Kingsbury is a co-educational day school for children
from early childhood through high school with learning
disabilities and difficulties. Our guiding philosophy
in educating children with learning disabilities holds
that only by tailoring instructional methods and curricula
to meet the unique learning needs of each student can
individuals with learning disabilities be taught effectively.
We maintain a small student-teacher ratio (3:1) to ensure
that each child receives the individualized attention
he or she needs to learn successfully.
Kingsbury students have a number of related services
available to them during the school day, including occupational,
speech-language, and physical therapies, as well as
tutoring and psychological services. We take a comprehensive
approach to therapy services, with the therapists actively
involving the student's teachers and integrating therapy
services into the classroom.
