A distinctive component of the Kingsbury Day School curriculum is Enrichment Clusters. The Clusters meet bi-weekly and engage students, faculty and staff across the school through interest-based activities.
Each semester, all members of the school community enroll in an Enrichment Cluster group. Each group is composed of students in a span of two to three grade levels and is led by a faculty member or administrator who shares that special interest. Cluster groups meet over six sessions through the course of the semester.
Enrichment Cluster topics, which change each semester and range from cooking to crafts, sports, scrabble, etc., are studied with the intent of engaging students to increase their knowledge and to master concepts that are tied to the academic curriculum.
