The best education includes parents and guardians.

Parent involvement is an important and welcome facet of Kingsbury life. As educators, we can do our jobs better when there is consistent communication between home and school.

Parents are encouraged to participate in Kingsbury activities as volunteers, for it enhances student life, builds a strong sense of community, and supports our students' educational experiences.

Opportunities abound for parents to participate in the life of the school throughout the year. One may volunteer to be a room parent, participate in special activities, or work on in-classroom projects. Kingsbury’s parents may also serve on committees with families who receive services from Kingsbury's other divisions. In addition, several current and former Kingsbury parents serve on Kingsbury's Board of Trustees.
