Academy for Extended Learning: Five-Year Option
At Kingsbury, we recognize that students with learning differences may need extra time and support to satisfy graduation requirements. The Academy for Extended Learning is a five-year high school program that provides the time and support so that students have an opportunity to complete requirements successfully and earn a high school diploma.
Students may enter the Academy in either Grade 9 or Grade 10, based on a variety of data points, including but not limited to, teacher recommendations, evaluations and social and/or academic maturity.
