The Kingsbury Center has over 75 years of experience in working with individuals with learning differences. We know for each challenge there are often hidden strengths just waiting to emerge. Whether you or your child faces speech or motor difficulties, ADHD, autism, emotional difficulties, dyslexia, or other specific learning disabilities, we can help.
Kingsbury Center Services include:
Diagnostics and Psychotherapy – Testing for language-based, behavioral and social-emotional learning differences, including ADD and ADHD. Individual and group psychotherapy.
Speech and Language Therapy – Evaluation and services focused on improving intelligibility, listening, oral expression and reading and writing
Occupational Therapy – Fine and gross motor skills, sensory skills, self help, organizational skills, executive function and other skills development
Physical Therapy – Evaluations, screenings and school-based and outpatient services for individual and groups
Kingsbury Center Services are integrated as needed into the educational plan of students in our Kingsbury Center, and are also offered to children and adults throughout the D.C. metro area, at a time convenient to the client.

- An initial meeting to discuss goals and objectives is followed by regular communicaiton on progress and achievement.
