We invite you to participate!
Kingsbury is the premier source of education for children with learning differences and ADHD in the DC metro area.
Our students, teachers, tutors and related service providers are equipped with the best tools available for teaching and learning.
Our students are encouraged to become independent thinkers and learners and to reach their fullest potential. We encourage our students to take initiative and become well-rounded individuals in academics, athletics and social situations.
Kingsbury's Scholarship Fund assists students who struggle with learning differences by providing:
Support to identify and advocate for their individual learning styles
Teachers and staff members who are experts in educating students who learn differently
Access to integrated services and therapies
Individualized educational technology to assist and engage the learner
A safe, supportive place to learn
Classes and opportunities (athletics, social events, arts, etc.) to develop self-confidence and nurture talents, and
A pathway to lead a productive and fulfilling life beyond Kingsbury.
Proceeds from the Annual Kingsbury Golf Classic (held in September) and the Annual Kingsbury 5K Run/Walk/Skip event (held in May) support the Kingsbury Scholarship Funds.
The cost of achieving these goals is great, and we are indebted to our many donors who support the school each year. We invite you to participate in any way that you can, which will help to make a difference in the life of every Kingsbury student.
