The Extended Day Program consists of the Before and After School Child Care Programs. These programs run every day that school is in session. These Programs are not open on Federal holidays and Winter Break.
Participation in either program requires parents to fill out the Kingsbury Center Registration Forms, which provides valuable medical and emergency information for the Extended Day office.
Beforecare provides students with a quiet time for students to independently choose and engage in a variety of fun and stimulating activities to help start their day. They are encouraged to participate in a number of activities, that include, but are not limited, to arts and crafts, puzzles, reading, drawing and socializing with their friends.
The beforecare program is staffed by an Extended Day staff member or teacher of the KDS Program who is familiar with a child and his/her individual needs.
Monday - Friday: 7:00 am - 8:15 am
The Aftercare Program is open to enrolled Lower and Middle school students for a daily or weekly fee. The Program offers a quiet, supervised space for students to do homework, as well as fitness, games and art activities. Students in Aftercare receive dinner.
Each semester, special afterschool classes (horseback riding, yoga, ice skating, cooking, drama and other activities) are also available to aftercare students for an additional fee.
This program is staffed by an Extended Day staff member or teacher of the KDS Program who is familiar with a child and his/her individual needs.
